Specifically curious whether you had dedicated advisory support on the financing side or largely navigated lender requirements and deal structure on your own or with the lender yourself.
Did you have someone in your corner who:
Understood lender requirements & bank approval logic
Deal structure
Modelling various scenarios like revenue declines, maintenance and growth CapEx, and when you could afford to hire someone like a general manager.
Banks and Alt lenders to go to if the SBA says no, etc etc
Or did you figure most of it out yourself or lean on your lender directly?
Trying to honestly assess whether there's a real advisory gap there or whether buyers are generally well covered.
