Partner or????
At what point does a general contractor become a partner instead of just a contractor?
For me, it's the moment they stop thinking about the next task and start thinking about the owner's long term success. They're protecting the budget, identifying risks before they become problems, coordinating the right people, and making decisions with the asset in mind, not just the project.
I'm interested to hear your perspective. What separates a contractor from a true partner? Do you partner with your contractor?
