Emanate Part-Time Remote Intern — Deal Sourcing & Business Development 10–15 hours/week | Fully Remote | Flexible Schedule Emanate is a dynamic private equity firm focused on acquiring and growing businesses across targeted industries. We move fast, think creatively, and build a high-quality pipeline of investment opportunities. This internship puts you at the center of that process. The Role We're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented intern to support our deal sourcing team. Your primary focus will be on contact research and email validation — identifying and verifying the right people at companies we want to reach. As you grow in the role, responsibilities may expand into outreach, pipeline support, and analytical work. Primary Responsibilities • Research target companies and identify key decision-maker contacts using online tools, databases, and industry lists. • Validate email addresses and maintain accurate, organized contact records to support outreach campaigns. • Flag and surface high-potential acquisition targets within our focus industries. • Draft professional outreach emails and follow-up correspondence on behalf of the deal sourcing team. • Collaborate with team members to keep the deal pipeline current and data clean. • As the role evolves: assist with qualifying business owners, evaluating opportunities, and supporting analytical models. Qualifications • Currently enrolled student, recent graduate, or early-career professional with interest in private equity, finance, or business development. • Strong attention to detail — you take pride in accurate, well-organized data. • Comfortable navigating websites, CRMs, LinkedIn, and online databases to find and verify information. • Clear written communication skills; able to draft professional, concise emails. • Self-starter who can manage time independently and stay productive in a remote environment. • Experience with high-volume research or data entry is a plus but not required. • Familiarity with tools like Hunter.io, Apollo, ZoomInfo, or similar email-finding platforms is a bonus. What You'll Gain • Direct exposure to private equity deal origination and sourcing strategy. • Practical skills in business research, contact intelligence, and professional outreach. • A front-row view of how PE firms identify and evaluate acquisition targets. • A flexible, remote role that works around your schedule. • Potential to grow into expanded responsibilities as the firm scales. Position Details • Hours: 10–15 hours per week, fully remote. • Schedule: Flexible — coordinate with team as needed. • Compensation: Unpaid internship / academic credit (please check with your institution). • Start Date: Immediate / Rolling How to Apply Please submit the following to: redacted • Your resume. • A brief cover letter (3–5 sentences) describing your interest in private equity and any relevant research or data experience. We review applications on a rolling basis. If you're ready to get hands-on experience in private equity and enjoy digging for information, we'd love to hear from you.
