Emanate, a dynamic private equity firm, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented part-time remote intern to join our deal sourcing team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the private equity industry while developing critical skills in sales, communication, business development, and technical research. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and contact business owners in targeted industries to qualify potential acquisition opportunities, leveraging online tools and websites to research and source businesses. - Conduct 80–100 outbound calls per week to engage prospects and gather critical information. - Draft professional correspondence, including emails and memoranda, to support outreach and follow-up efforts. - Assist in developing and refining models to evaluate acquisition opportunities and ensure data accuracy. - Collaborate with the deal sourcing team to contribute to the firm’s pipeline of high-quality investment opportunities. Qualifications: - Strong interest in private equity, finance, or business development; current students, recent graduates, or professionals with real-world experience in these areas are encouraged to apply. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with business owners and stakeholders. - Solid technical proficiency, including the ability to efficiently navigate various websites, online databases, and digital tools to research and identify businesses. - Curiosity, self-motivation, and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving. - Comfort with high-volume outreach and the ability to manage time effectively in a remote work environment. - Familiarity with drafting professional documents and working with data models is a plus but not required.
