does any one have an overview of brokers and platforms to use for a search in Eastern Europe, in particular Romania?
I have the impression the M&A market is less developed than in Western Europa or USA and could not identify the go-to resources.

You are right, the m&a market and infrastructure are very immature. https://trade-x.ro/ro/ is a platform where some independent brokers are promoting their deals (although not sure how helpful this is, as I realized that all the content is in Romanian :) ).
I started looking at that space a few months ago, and I started developing a local network. Happy to chat and make introductions to some of my contacts, as they fit with what you are looking for.
