Operating Partner Opportunity — Equity Stake in an Early-Revenue U.S. Specialty Food Company
. We are a U.S.-based specialty food import & distribution company headquartered in Florida, the American arm of an Italian food manufacturing group with 30+ years of production history in premium egg pasta and filled pasta. We hold a USPTO-registered brand, an active retail footprint of 155+ points of sale in South Florida, e-commerce presence across Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Etsy and Faire, and our own operating warehouse and offices. This is not a pre-revenue startup: real contracts, active retail placement, and a working import/distribution infrastructure are already in place. Revenue is still in its early ramp-up phase — the opportunity is to scale an already de-risked foundation, not build one from scratch.
Why this is different
• We are the manufacturer, not just an importer: our own production in Italy guarantees supply continuity, quality control and scalable capacity — something most importers in this category simply cannot offer
• Our manufacturing partner is an established co-packer for some of the best-known branded and private-label food companies in Europe — food safety, quality and scale already validated at an international level
• The Italian manufacturing entity has an active institutional financing relationship with SIMEST, Italy's state-backed institution for international expansion, and is eligible for additional financing as the U.S. business scales — a bankable, credit-worthy operation, not a bootstrapped startup
• We hold direct import authority in the U.S., with the ability to bring in a much wider assortment of authentic Italian products beyond our own factory lines — this is not a single-SKU business, it's a platform
• Two proprietary ready-to-eat product concepts are already developed and ready to scale domestically — including a shelf-stable, ready-in-minutes cup format built to take share directly from the multi-billion-dollar instant noodle category — offering a healthier, authentic Italian alternative to the heavily processed, Asian-import brands that dominate it today
The opportunity
We are looking to bring in an operating partner to take an equity stake and an active role in scaling the business on two fronts: (1) national retail and distribution expansion, and (2) standing up a new U.S. co-packing/production facility for the two product lines above. A natural fit for a searcher or operating investor looking for an operationally de-risked platform — infrastructure, brand and channels already built — with real early-stage product upside, rather than a ground-up build.
Why now
• U.S. imported Italian food market: $5.5B, growing at +7.2% CAGR
• Premium pasta segment: $890M and accelerating
• 65M+ Americans of Italian heritage as a core addressable base
• Grocery e-commerce channels up sharply post-pandemic; brand already live on major marketplaces
• Active roadmap to expand to 130–140 SKUs, including a planned acquisition of an established U.S. food distribution company as a growth accelerator
• Multi-year path toward becoming a reference platform for imported Italian food in the U.S., with a strategic exit or IPO horizon
What we're looking for
• Proven operating or transaction experience (food, CPG, retail, distribution, or manufacturing)
• Capital to invest directly into the business
• U.S. residency / work authorization
• Ability to lead one or both of: national commercial expansion, and/or the stand-up of a new U.S. production facility (including navigating U.S. grant and incentive programs)
What's on the table
• Equity stake, percentage tied to capital and role (open to negotiation)
• Board seat and direct strategic involvement
• Entry into a company with real operating infrastructure and market access already built — brand, warehouse, retail and e-commerce channels — backed by an international group with operations in Italy, Europe, and the U.S.
