After 15 years, I’m diving back into online marketing—this time, to apply those skills to a shortlist of small businesses we're considering buying. A lot has changed, so I need to get up to speed on the latest and greatest.
What’s the most efficient way to do that?
If you’ve come across any online courses, must-read articles, insightful podcasts, or other goldmine resources on modern online marketing, I’d love your recommendations! Drop them in the comments or DM me.
What type of online marketing are you looking to do? TikToks? Facebook Ads? Local SEO? etc
1. Do not use your main domain to send out emails, purchase alternative domains.
2. Set up 2 email addresses to send emails from per domain, get them from Google Workspace.
3. Setup domain forwarding.
4. Do Technical Setup - DKIM, SPF, DMARC
5. Integrate it with email tool.
6. Warm-up Email addresses for 3 weeks.
Then shoot out campaigns.
Apart from email marketing, some people send physical email as well in case of small businesses. For more structured businesses, LinkedIn could be another touchpoint.
