One gift for new searchers?

Many of us have just finished or are finishing our shopping for others. The question occurred to me: if you could give one thing to a beginning searcher, what would it be? Perhaps it's something practical, like a book or an office supply. Or, maybe it's something more aspirational, like a never-ending plane ticket to go see companies or an actual bottomless cup of coffee. This is all meant in good fun, and the only rule is that it has to be a physical thing.

Thanks for making this a great community, all. To those who celebrate Christmas, merry Christmas. And to everyone, here's looking forward to a happy New Year and a prosperous 2019.

How about the gift that keeps on giving? If you have deals in your inventory that you passed on but which you think someone else in the community would be interested in, post them using the deals tab on this site. Many of us would be willing to compensate you for a deal that turned into the company we end up buying.

I'd give them the HBS book, "Buying a Small Business" and "Buy then Build" by Walker Deibel I bet they'd get both books done by New Years!
