Hi everyone,
wanted to get your recommendations on office spaces that I should try/go for in manhattan? Could you please share your experience if you use any of those; wework, elevated, jay suites etc. Thank you!

I've tried them all; unless you crave community, I've found that getting a boring old 12 month lease in an office building to be the most cost effective approach for the money. Since I'm on the phone throughout the day, I feel much better about having the privacy that comes with a solo office.

I have a lease in flatiron building with doorman, 24/7/365 access, with a window to the outside world, $950/mo all-in. A comparable office at an industrious would run me $3-6,000/mo, or $2,500-4,500/mo at a WeWork. I had to buy my own furniture, but the cost savings alone made it easy to justify the aeron chair, standing desk, and other amenities.

I did have a private office (with 2 desks) at Bond Collective for $2000 month-to-month, but then this happened and I'm not keen on repeating that with a WeWork or other sub-licensee model: https://therealdeal.com/new-york/2023/02/10/bond-collective-locked-out-of-flatiron-location-by-city-marshal/

I was in the WeWork in Times Square. Would consider going back there when my current project ends. It was great for me because it was two blocks from the bus terminal and I would commute from NJ, More depends on how often you would be there and from what direction. Agree with ^redacted‌ - customer service not their strong point...
