For all NY-based, traditional search funds: do you have workers compensation insurance, disability / paid family leave benefits, or unemployment insurance? Intuitively it doesn't make sense to me as you're the principal and pay/manage yourself, etc. I'm going through the process of requesting exemption from the NYS Workers Compensation Board. Curious to see if others have deal with / are dealing with this? Would be helpful to note in responses if you are solo or partnered search.
