Currently evaluating a deal not in the US (but I am a US citizen and will be managing it remotely from the US), which I believe means the business is not SBA eligible. Who might be some best-in-class conventional loan financing providers who'd lend to a company with ~$750k in SDE? What would max leverage look like (4X EBITDA? 80% loan to value?)?
Business fundamentals are quite strong (strong value prop, fragmented and underpenetrated competitors/customer base, non-existent capital intensity), and it's in a relatively unique sector. SDE multiple will be in the 4-5x range (5-6x EBITDA multiple). I suspect the equity side will be easier than the debt -- but how might US-based equity investors react to a non-US deal? Thanks!
Non-US, non-SBA loans / equity under $1mm EBITDA?
