Non-Medical Home Care Acquisition in Illinois
Has anyone here been involved in, or know someone who has been involved in, the acquisition of a Home Services Agency in Illinois?
To clarify, I mean non-medical / unskilled home care, not home health care.
I’m trying to better understand some of the nuances involved in a potential transaction, especially around a stock sale / change of ownership, continuity of payments, payer contracts, Medicaid waiver-related payments, and any other regulatory or operational issues that can affect closing or post-close transition.
Would really appreciate the chance to speak with anyone who has direct experience in this space, whether as a buyer, seller, attorney, consultant, operator, or advisor.
