New to Searchfunder

Hi All!

I'm new to Searchfunder and happy to be here. Not sure if this is the right approach but I figured I would introduce myself with my current situation and long-term goals. I also want you to know that I would LOVE to be helpful to you all wherever I can. If anything I say or anything about my background stands out as potentially useful, don't hesitate to reach out!

I graduated from my MBA in April and have since launched a full-time, nationwide search for a business to buy and personally run. I am based in Denver, CO and have financing lined up. My target is a B2B services business doing $5M-$20M in revenue and/or $1.5M-$5M in EBITDA. As many of you probably are, I'm looking for a business with strong recurring revenue, low customer concentration, and a track record of profitability and steady sales growth. I am particularly interested in "train the trainer" models as well as companies that provide regulatory-mandated services (think workplace AED maintenance required by OSHA and things of that nature).

My background is in sales and operations (particularly in the ecommerce furniture space) and I have started a handful of companies as well - outdoor gear retail, digital information product with podcast, and a speech therapy clinic with my wife. I have been married for 8 years and my wife and I have 2 kids (a boy and a girl). We're excited to move to whatever US community we find a business in and look forward to helping any of you in any way we can along the way!
