New Markets Tax Credit Investors

Hello,

Our investment group has a commercial landscape management acquisition target under LOI in a severe distressed NMTC zone. I would like to have conversations with investors interested in the New Markets Tax Credits, and are able to invest up to $5MM of equity.

NMTC involves a lot of players, including the investor, a CDFI that administers the grant, lender, etc. All the stars have to align perfectly, which is not easy under the deadline of an LOI. Your best bet would be to find a CDFI in your state that already has committed investors: redacted , but most likely the funds have already been fully committed by now. The 2023 awards have not been announced yet, I believe.
