This is tough to respond to without more information. There are a lot of ways to fund a transaction. Depending on the type of business, assets of the business, the buyer, and how the business is performing, there may be options that are better than others.

I would recommend working with someone that has experience in structuring funding. Your choice of funding will impact the business going forward. You need to make sure you not only are successfully funding the deal but you also want funding that won't kill the future cash flow of the business.
