My co-founder bought 6 auto shops and got sick of the sourcing process. So we built this.

Hey everyone, Joel here. Just joined the community. A bit of backstory on why I'm here: My co-founder Luis has been rolling up auto repair shops for a while. By the time he closed on his 6th shop, he was basically losing his mind over how painful the deal-sourcing process is. You guys know the drill, you spend hours digging through the usual sites only to find out a listing is stale, already under LOI, or just a ghost post. The data quality out there is honestly garbage. We got so fed up that we decided to build our own tool to fix it: Venturu.com We knew we couldn't just build another scraper as there were plenty aggregators out there full of stale / dead listings that operate in gray areas, so we spent the last few months doing the unsexy work of setting up direct, verified data feeds with brokerages (like Sunbelt) and associations (like Miami Realtors). We have been attending business broker conferences for the past year and meeting people over and over again in order to accomplish this. But what this means is that every listing on there is directly sourced, actually active and legitimate. To speed up Luis's workflow, we also baked in automatic price tracking and free preliminary business analysis on the listings to kill that initial screening bottleneck. Since we originally built this to solve Luis's headache, I want to know if it actually solves yours. For the self-funded and traditional searchers in here, play around with it and please rip it apart. What are we missing? What features would make this your daily driver for deal flow?
