More training. A lower acquisition benchmark. What’s missing?
I’ve been thinking about two questions aspiring business buyers have asked recently:
1) What are the odds of completing an acquisition?
2) And is ETA training worth it?
I used to answer those questions separately. But when I thought about the data together, the comparison became difficult to ignore:
ETA course participation rose from 37% to 61% for traditional searchers, while the latest reported acquisition benchmark fell to 48%.
The conclusion isn’t that training doesn’t matter. It may be that the kind of training matters more than we think.
