Hi all,
We are currently facing something unexpected at the beggining of our search. We currently have two deals under LOI with high chances of closing. One of them is kind of a startup, young company (<5 years), small (~1M ebitda) with high growth (+40%YoY) and the owners will remain involved with some equity, while the other is more of a classical searchfund deal (2-3M ebitda with a solid historic growth).
We are a traditional partner searchfund and are currently debating whether we should try to do both deals in paralell, as the first deal is kind of "cheap" and wouldn't add a lot of equity to ask to our investors.
Has anyone faced this situation? Is there any success story of a searcher pulling this move?
As always thanks a lot to the community!
