Microacquire seems to be working well for those trying to buy SaaS / E-Commerce companies, but what about the rest? there are tons of brokers' websites but it seems like there are less modernized websites where you can look for businesses by industry, size and multiple parameters. what is your go-to and is it good enough?

This comes up frequently. I think Andrew Gazdecki has done a really great job with branding and marketing to convince people that Microaquire serves this totally untapped niche. I think that's false -- MA is another marketplace, that is in some ways better and some ways not, from all the others like Flippa, Empire Flippers, etc. (Again -- not a negative judgement at all -- I predict MA will do well).

So, when this comes up I feel like the conversation is basically along the lines of "does BizBuySell suck, and if it sucks, can someone make a better one?"

Which I think the answer is yes, but that it's really hard given their entrenched position.

^redacted‌ is spot-on when he talks about the embedded relationships, but I've found that is more of an issue with a select minority of entrenched industry & association leadership, not the business brokers themselves. We've had amazing ground-up support from the business broker community. We're trying to accelerate deal flow for everybody here....
