Miami-based self-funded searcher

Hey all - a little late to the intro game, but I've been running a self-funded search in Miami for the past ~6 months.

Looking to connect with others on the same path. Generally, I'm after targets with the following profile:

(1) B2B services + manufacturing (2) 50%+ gross margin (3) Sticky customer profile (i.e., government, hospitals, municipalities, etc.) (4) Located in Miami-Dade or Broward counties (5) $3-10m revenue
(6) $500k+ SDE

I've made LOIs on a few deals that match but always searching for more.

Separately, I've made a lot of great S. Florida broker contacts. Happy to intro to anyone interested.

As a broker, I'm not seeing a slowdown in new opportunities. I'm adding to my team to support the deal flow. There can sometimes be a summer lag with vacations, etc on deals actually hitting the market.

I'm seeing a similar trend. I'm also seeing businesses sit on the market for longer than I'd expect. My strategy has been to make an initial offer while preserving the relationship. I always say "my offer stands" to leave the door open for the seller to come back to me once they get tired of tire kickers.
