I bank-funded an SMB medical spa acquisition deal with the SBA guarantee in###-###-#### It's pretty crazy, considering the heart of the pandemic then. It worked, and the business was and remains successful. This was the 3rd business purchase finance SBA loan project by a client who had experience operating two other successful, proven-cash flowing SMBs over the years prior in different industries. The medical spa offered Botox and various injections; hence, a licensed medical aesthetician on-site was a must in the ownership line-up per the state requirements. We worked with a seasoned key employee who held the proper licensing with the new owner, offering her a small percentage of ownership with an employment agreement signed at closing.
