We are working on a deal for a medical device distribution business with operations in Canada and the US. The company primarily sells diagnostic equipment directly to clinics. Equipment is <$25k so they don't sell through hospital buying groups in Canada. We have completed due diligence and are currently raising capital. Looking to connect with folks who have relevant experience in Canada or the US. Thanks!

I have some experience. On the US side, have to make sure your devices are compliant. Know the rules about selling in the medical space, you will need to make sure you have a great sales team that can build relationships if selling direct, but really you want to get your prod sold through a distributor. Know your customers, hospitals can be risky and there might be certain ways that you have to price product.

^redacted‌ I worked for a medical equipment company in the US for several years, happy to connect and chat further if you’d like.
