Any recommendations for a very experienced Maryland or DMV-based business acquisition attorney who can also handle a real estate transaction without paying big law fees? Thanks!

I’ll throw my hat in the ring here. Ex-Big Law and Ex-Large Cap PE, but now head up Cullen LLP’s Private Equity group and focus much of my practice working with independent sponsors and searchers. We offer very reasonable fees (capped fees at 1-2% of purchase price, no retainer or milestone payments). I’m based in NYC but we have a DC office as well and I make my way down there often. I worked with Joel Ankney, who wrote a book on SMB transactions 'Here's the Deal' He's licensed in Virginia, not sure about MD and DC. Also the owner's attorney, who used to be General Counsel for a structural builder that did many acquisitions in the 90's was pretty good. Dan Maller, out of Vienna, VA. I know that he is also licensed in VA, not sure about DC or MD. Joel Ankney was in my opinion well experienced and reasonably priced.
