Role Overview:
Annie Aesthetic is looking for an MBA Summer and Fall Associate on site in the San Francisco Bay Area to aid with the closing and integration of a current deal under Letter of Intent. We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the team to both help with the closing of the deal and the post-close operations in-person. The Intern will work closely with the Annie Aesthetic executive team and leaders at our medical aesthetic clinics to help support the integration of the new company into our portfolio. This role entails a mix of financial, operational, and strategic responsibilities and will require elevated project management and organizational skills. The role will report to the COO.
Duration and Start
• Minimum 2 month internship starting in Late May
• Preference given to a candidate willing to stay on for longer, up to six months (ending December 2024)
Requirements
• Currently enrolled in a Masters program with an expected graduation date between December 2024 and December 2025
• Able to come into the target company’s offices (Downtown and Burlingame) 5 days a week during the Summer and at least two 2 days a week thereafter.
• This is an on-site, relationship building job focused on operations and integration
Job Description
• Analyze previous financial performance of the company
• Integrate current operations into existing parent company
• Focus on employee retention while remaining within the parameters of the post-close budget
• Gain deep knowledge about the history of the business as well and current and future operating best practices
• Learn Annie Aesthetic’s and target’s systems and views to make sure integration is done as seamlessly as possible
• Train new and existing team members on best practices, procedures, protocols and any systems needed
• Help plan the marketing strategy using the existing customer base and nuances of the existing business’ brand and value proposition
• Work with vendors and in-house team to implement effective ordering and promotional campaigns
• Coach the existing clinic manager on professional best practices employed by Annie Aesthetics (i.e. KPI setting and ongoing adherence)
Compensation
• Estimated compensation between $25-40 an hour based on availability and experience
