Does anyone have advice on sourcing business owner contacts in Massachusetts? Of the traditional business contact providers (ZoomInfo, Grata, etc.) are any of them better or worse in the area? Are there publicly available sources people recommend?

^redacted‌, if you're looking for businesses in MA you might consider using the native app built w/in Searchfunder at the top of the screen called "Data Axle Companies". If you're looking specifically for the owner contacts for businesses in MA, I can help. Looks like there are approx. 78K verified businesses w/an owner contact in MA. It's likely you won't need all 78K, so you may want to refine your list by employee size, annual revenue, or a more targeted geography. If you have ongoing data needs, you may want to consider using www.dataaxlegenie.com (salesgenie) which is a membership service that provides access to the data for a low monthly fee ($149/m). I'd recommend starting a free trial if you want to check it out. Data Axle also offers public access in most libraries under our ReferenceUSA brand. Let me know if you have any follow up questions and feel free to DM if that's better for you.

I hate to be difficult, but this sounds like a weak thesis on finding businesses in general. If you were building a business, would you start by finding a list of targets or focus on your product first? Determine your unique value proposition and then do direct outreach to clients in your sector on LinkedIn. If you know the industry you want to be in, LinkedIn Sales Navigator is incredibly easy to use to find seniority and sector. Read Spears, Nets, Seads. You're thinking of only using a net, sometimes (especially in complex deal sourcing) spear fishing is better.
