Has anyone worked with an agency that will help with market research if there aren't any good standard reports on the space? We're currently evaluating a deal that's in an industry that spans a few of the major industries that organizations like IBIS break things out into...

Hi redacted I've done this work in the past and we currently do this work for clients in one of the businesses I own. While our focus is tech and deep tech, we've covered healthcare, pharma, manufacturing, retail, CPG, and telecom (and probably a few others too).

Key to this research, regardless of who you work with is to first figure out what you want and need to know about your market. At a base level, it's important to understand the size and scope (segments, geo's, use cases, growth rates, etc). Also ideal, to do a PESTEL and SWOT analysis (Google those terms).

You're welcome to ping me privately with any questions. I'll likely direct you to someone else as we're slammed at the moment.

What do you mean by "agency"? We have a few market research providers in the DueDilio network but I wouldn't call them an agency.
