Managing Director / Buy-In Candidate (South West UK)

We are looking to invest in or acquire a UK-based light engineering company that supplies safety and survival products into defence, marine and outdoor. The company has a long history and the existing founder would like to transition to an R&D role. We are therefore looking for a new managing director or preferably buy-in candidate to work alongside us. The ideal candidate has a strong commercial acumen but is also comfortable managing operations. Some experience with brand positioning/architecture, especially in the outdoor space, is preferred.
