*****UPDATE FEB 7th, 2025: NO LONGER REVIEWING APPLICATIONS*****
*** NO INTERNS: SEE 1/17 UPDATE AT BOTTOM OF LISTING ***
Hello! My firm, Cedars Consulting Group occasionally has opportunities that I'd love to share with the smart individuals of the SearchFunder community.
All of the work would be part-time/contract/project based, remote, paid generously, and the hours are usually very flexible (0-20/wk).
-------
WHO I'M LOOKING FOR:
CCG usually helps small to medium businesses with high-level management strategy, operations, analytics, sales, and leadership coaching, however, I'm completely open to any high-achieving professionals with an entrepreneurial mindset, a diverse skillset, and an unrelenting passion for seeing others succeed in life and business.
Backgrounds in any STEM field, law, economics, finance and accounting tend to fit the best, however, if you think critically, work hard, and have a genuine passion for helping businesses succeed, I can almost always find a place where you can add value on our team.
-------
WHY YOU'D LIKE THIS BESIDE MAKING SOME SIDE MONEY:
You'd get a unique insight on how consultants solve complex business problems at the root, the experience looks fantastic on a resume, and it could lead to more opportunities with our firm, our clients, as an entrepreneur yourself etc.
-------
If you're looking for some extra experience or income and have an interesting background, I'd love to talk! Just message me and mention this listing.
Cheers!
Matt
*** UPDATE 1/17: EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONALS ONLY - NO STUDENTS / INTERNS ***
I really appreciate and am honored by the overwhelming responses I've received so far. I intend to at least briefly review each resume, but I made the mistake of not making it more clear that these roles are for experience professionals—not interns.
For context, in the first 3 days of this post, I received about 130 responses. About 100 of those are from students without professional experience, and 50 of those are first year university students.
I greatly admire the professional messages and impressive resumes of the students who applied, but I may not get around to responding individually to each of you.
Although, I didn't intend to hire this level, I will certainly consider finding ways to incorporate some of you in future work, so I'm happy to stay in touch over the coming months, and I'm glad to have your resumes on file.
Best of luck to all of you in your searches and studies.
