Thanks Richard, Great article. It is very interesting to read that most former consultants said that becoming a CEO gave them more freedom. As a CEO, I always looked at the consultants that we hired, as them being the ones with more freedom. I guess that the famous saying "The grass is always greener on the other side" might apply in this case.

This was a very interesting read. I have spent a lot of years working for others and what really struck home was how the pressure of being the CEO forced people to leave non-essential or non-value-added work out of their daily lives. I wish others in positions of great responsibility could come to this realization without needing to be a CEO.
