Perry Street Partners sources acquisition opportunities for independent sponsors, private equity firms, and capitalized searchers. We help buyers find and build relationships with business owners in business services, industrial services, and consumer services. We recently launched our intern program. Five interns are working with us across the U.S. today, and we're growing the class to around ten. This is a hands-on look at how lower middle market deals get sourced. We're looking for students and recent graduates who want real exposure to M&A. You'll work directly with the founders, support live sourcing campaigns, and learn how a first conversation with an owner turns into a qualified acquisition opportunity. Our team builds the target lists, so your time goes to owner conversations. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Reach out to business owners by phone and email, and follow up on warm leads from our marketing campaigns - Sit in on owner calls and help assess fit against client acquisition criteria - Keep the pipeline and CRM records clean and current - Help prepare materials for buyer introductions WHAT YOU'LL LEARN How sourcing works in practice. How to talk to business owners. How buyers think about acquisition criteria. You'll get direct feedback from the founders and see deals move from first touch to introduction. WHO YOU ARE - Current undergrad, MBA student, or recent graduate - Interested in M&A, private equity, search funds, or entrepreneurship - Comfortable picking up the phone and following up consistently - Organized, curious, and willing to take ownership of your work - Strong written communication No prior M&A experience needed. SCHEDULE Part-time during the school year, 10 to 20 hours per week. Full-time is open to candidates not currently in school. We also offer full-time summer and winter internships. Fully remote within the U.S. COMPENSATION Interns earn a bonus for each qualified owner meeting they set, plus a percentage of fees on closed transactions they help source. INTERESTED?
