Dean Street Law Legal Internship Fall, Spring, & Summer Internships Available 3 Month Internship/4 Month Internship/6 Month Internship Based on Weekly Hours Company Overview Dean Street Law is a women-owned and operated firm, located in West Chester, PA. We started in 2019 and have been growing quickly. Our team works closely to support one another and ultimately serve our clients. The Dean Street Law internship program offers students an opportunity to gain exposure to the inner workings of a law firm and gain experience in the legal field with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions. We have Fall, Spring, & Summer Internships available - the Fall Internship begins in August, the Spring Internship begins in January, and the Summer Internship begins in May. The duration of the internship is based on the amount of hours per week. We offer a 3 month internship at 30 hours per week, a 4 month internship at 20 hours a week, and a 6 month internship at 15 hours per week - students may select a time frame that works best for them. We can work flexibly with a potential hire’s existing schedule, with a schedule assigned by the company prior to hiring. Due to the nature and learning portion of the internship, the internship may be completed remotely, but there is a preference for a candidate who can work 1-2 days in person in West Chester, PA. Students that participate in our program will work directly with the company’s CEO and Founder. We encourage creativity and autonomy. Role & Responsibilities Supporting the legal team in all business areas with a particular focus in mergers & acquisitions Participate in a variety of legal special projects that gain exposure for better understanding of corporate law Assist in drafting client resources, letters, legal forms, and other documents Conduct legal research Maintain and organize charts and files Contract and document management to manage client expectations and track progress Assisting team with any other administrative needs Assist with business development and networking Extending these responsibilities to support the legal product development for Laura DiFrancesco LLC Education & Experience Must be pursuing a Bachelor's/Graduate program at an accredited college or university in a related field Related work experience is preferred Proficient in G-Suite, Word, and Excel Why Dean Street Law?
