Lower Middle Market Transaction Data?
Hi I'm looking for suggestions on your preferred data provider for lower to middle market transactions, thinking between DealStats or GFData but happy to hear if anyone has other sources.

Hi ^redacted. DealStats provides data at the individual transaction level. You can view transaction reports for each business sale, with up to 212 data fields. You can select your comparable companies using filters/searching, and by additionally reviewing the individual transaction reports and selecting/deselecting comparables. The platform will then provide analytics on your selected comparables. You can also download all the details for each individual transaction to Excel, as well as any analytics the platform has created.
I believe GF Data does not provide reports for single, individual transactions. My understanding is that the platform utilizes aggregated data, and users access aggregated benchmarks. You can impose a few filters, but you cannot view the underlying data for each deal.
We have also added an AI component to DealStats that lets you ask questions (prompts) and receive responses backed by the underlying data. The responses explain the logic employed and provide the underlying SQL query that was used to generate your response. It can create custom analytics, data tables, graphs, explain methodology, and more for you.
If you have any questions about DealStats, I would be happy to connect with you!

^redacted, Thanks for the tag. Deal Stats, Kumo, Baton are some options. Off market is what many do, but it's work...
