Lost opportunities, no thanks to employees, sellers, brokers, and searchers

At least once, every month, I hear from an upset searcher who lost a worthwhile opportunity, either to buyer competition or to messing up the searcher’s interactions with brokers and sellers, with respect to the employees of the potential merger or acquisition.

In some cases, the searcher’s mistakes blackball them from an entire sector. It happens when angry owners or brokers alert their peers about the searcher’s naïve or destructive behavior.
