Looking to make food my broader thesis, particularly food distribution

Hi everyone! Having worked for years in manufacturing and broader food and agriculture, I want to make food my broader thesis direction, with food distribution being one potential industry. Does anyone have any experience looking at food distribution through the lens of a search fund? I'm aware of the pitfalls of broadline distribution, which make it a horrible business for a search fund, but would like to dig deeper into the area's potential fit for a searcher. Good, bad and ugly - all insights are welcome!
