Looking to learn more about the experiences of Searchers

I stumbled across Search a few months back and felt immediately drawn to the autonomy and direct impact I could have on a business.

I have done my homework on the industry (Stanford Primer, HBR Guide, Jim Sharpe's blogs, and interviews/posts on this platform), but haven't had the opportunity to connect with a current or former Searcher, who is living or lived through the experience of conducting a search.

If anyone is willing to spare a few minutes to provide their candid perspective on the industry, I would greatly appreciate it. I currently live in New York, but work in Connecticut in case an in-person meet up would be preferable to a phone call.

Thank you,

Tyler

Hey Tyler - one resource that I have found to be very helpful is the Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition podcast from the Polsky Center. (https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/entrepreneurship-through-acquisition/id1149510247?mt=2) There are a few dozen interviews with searchers, investors, etc. that do a good job of sharing the highs and lows of the experience.

The search community is fairly open and I would think you can find a good amount of current and former searchers to share their experiences.
