Looking to gain experience in the ETA world

I have always been an entrepreneur at heart. I am a person who takes calculated risk and sees problems as opportunities. I have had a rewarding career in the Finance world working at J.P. Morgan in Miami, NYC, and San Francisco and then joining a food & beverage start-up in Miami, FL as Director of Finance. As Director of Finance, I was able to increase gross margin for the company from 25% to over 35% through a thorough and comprehensive cost reduction plan, along with a revamped pricing strategy. After 3 years as Director of Finance, the company got acquired by a Private Equity Firm and I was very involved in the whole process.

Now, I am finishing my MBA and for unexpected reasons I was forced to get involved on my family business in an operating capacity as CFO. As a CFO of my company, I have been able to turn around the business and become EBITDA positive in less than 6 months, and profitable as of last month. In order to achieve this, I had to draft and implement a very cohesive and ambitious restructuring plan and completely change our strategy and pivot successfully. In fact, we have grown so much in recent months that we just launched our own brand and are currently growing significantly.

I would love to have the opportunity to learn more about ETA and use my skills and experience to search for a company, find it, and then grow it to the next level. I know it is a difficult journey with lots of ups and downs but I am willing to take the risk and eager for this new challenge in my life.
