Looking to Connect with Great People and Great Businesses
Hi everyone!
I'm excited to be part of the Searchfunder community and look forward to learning from all of you.
For the past 20 years, I've worked as a registered nurse, and that experience has taught me how to lead under pressure, solve problems, build trust, and care deeply about people. Along the way, I've also become a published author and built a health and wellness business focused on helping people live healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Now I'm pursuing a new dream—acquiring and growing a great business through Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition.
After 20 years of caring for patients, I'm excited to build something that creates opportunities for employees, continues a business owner's legacy, serves customers with excellence, and provides long-term financial freedom for my family. I believe acquiring an existing business is one of the best ways to preserve what someone has worked so hard to build while bringing fresh ideas and sustainable growth.
I'm actively searching for an established, profitable business in Northern California—preferably in the Sacramento region—with a purchase price of approximately $300K–$700K that qualifies for SBA financing. I'm drawn to recession-resistant service businesses with strong teams, loyal customers, and a reputation built on trust and quality.
Some industries I'm exploring include:
• B2B services
• Healthcare-related businesses
• Funeral products and services
• Professional or payroll services
• Distribution companies
• Essential home or commercial services
• Other service businesses with recurring or predictable revenue
One of the reasons I joined Searchfunder is to build meaningful relationships with experienced operators, business brokers, SBA lenders, CPAs, attorneys, and equity investors who enjoy partnering with acquisition entrepreneurs. I'm especially interested in connecting with investors who value integrity, long-term partnerships, and helping first-time operators succeed. I value collaboration, continuous learning, and I'm always grateful for the opportunity to learn from people who have walked this path before me.
While this is my first acquisition, it isn't my first time leading people, solving complex problems, or making important decisions under pressure. My goal is to become a thoughtful, hands-on owner who takes great care of employees, customers, and the legacy entrusted to me.
If you have advice, know of a business that may be a good fit, or simply want to connect, I'd love to hear from you.
Thank you, and I look forward to getting to know this community!
