We are a SaaS focused holding company and are close to acquiring our first business, an app serving e-commerce merchants and helping them build interactive quizzes to collect first party data as well as provide personalized product recommendations. My background: previously I ran a real estate SaaS CRM startup (Contactually) and sold to Compass in###-###-#### At Compass, I ran all lead gen, helped take the company through IPO last year, and just left in March. I now run a vacation rental investment firm (Blue Maple); we own/operate cabin rentals in drive-to destinations outside of DC. We have 50 today and are adding another 100 over the next 18 months. On the side I invest in self-funded search deals (about 10/year).
