Looking for reading materials about failed small business acquisitions

Can anyone recommend some good reading materials about failed small business acquisitions? There is plenty to read about online about massive public companies, but I'm having trouble finding lessons learned relatable to a typical search fund acquisition. Thank you!

Also, I'd strongly recommend you read "Corporate Turnaround Artistry: Fix Any Business in 100 Days" by a chap called Jeff Sands. One of my favourite business books. It's a practical guide for how to handle a failing business approaching bankruptcy / running out of cash. I spent 2 years in distressed private equity, and I wish I'd read this before I started
