^redacted‌ are you willing to share the name of the credit union? I'm Canadian myself (from Ottawa, based in Calgary) but I have not heard of any Canadian banks or credit unions doing US deals. I'd be very keen to talk to them if they are still open to US lending. Feel free to DM me if you want to keep the name private.

Smallest deals I've seen without a PG are around $1.2M - $1.3M in EBITDA. Haven't looked in 3 years so I might be out of date slightly. We actually ended up getting the best offer by a wide margin from a small Canadian credit union for an American deal.
