Looking for investor/partner with PE experience

I have made a couple of investments and was recently under contract for a business as an operator but am pulling out due to the following reasons:

1. Not signing a long enough training period
2. Taking on too much risk by signing a PG, bringing most of the equity, and not having investors share the risk enough

I have the opportunity to meet with a few people that could seed an investment vehicle within the extreme LL middle markets and search space and am looking for a partner with PE experience.
