Hi All, I’m exploring bringing on an MBA intern to help with various aspects of my search (deal sourcing, financial modeling, industry research, etc.), and I’d love to hear from others who’ve gone down this path. Specifically, I’m curious about: - Best practices for structuring the internship (scope, duration, compensation (?), deliverables); - Whether you’ve found full-time or part-time arrangements to work best; - How you’ve sourced strong candidates (specific schools, platforms, or networks); - Any lessons learned: what worked well, and what you’d do differently; and - How to ensure that they gain value from the experience If you’ve hired an MBA intern recently or have been one yourself, I’d really appreciate your perspective. Thanks in advance, Nick Windwer, CPA

Thanks ^redacted‌ Nick we had an MBA intern for the summer from BU. He helped with many of the items you mentioned above. I would focus on schools that have either student run consulting programs or ETA/PE clubs. Happy to discuss.
