looking for head hunters advice

I have received interest from a wealth management company looking to hire a financial planner.

I am a 25 year old immigrant with no relevant /official experience in the financial industry.

I do however, posses strong skills when it comes to analyzing/managing M&A transactions.

I have successfully created boards with highly skilled persons - former bank vp's, chair of chamber of commerce, CIO among many others. I'm trying to figure out how to use this engagements to my advantage

Any relevant advice for my recruitment process will be much appreciated.
