Hi all - I'm looking for a consultant/advisor that has experience analyzing digital marketing for a deal under LOI. Would like to better understand business trends on CAC/LTV and other key ratios, channel lead generation (organic, Google ads, Meta, etc.), in an industry with significant VC-backed competition that has increased some of these ratios. Looking for third-party help analyzing ratios, frameworks, best practices, industry nuances, green/yellow/red flags, opportunity analysis, etc.

I spend a lot of time on this exact problem during diligence for SaaS and digital acquisitions. The biggest issues I typically see: • Blended CAC hiding unprofitable channels • LTV based on top-line revenue instead of contribution margin • Weak cohort retention masked by growth • Over-reliance on paid channels in competitive markets • Attribution that overstates performance (especially Meta/Google) In VC-backed spaces, these gaps tend to widen. CAC creeps up, payback stretches, and the model becomes much more sensitive to small changes. If you want a second set of eyes, happy to dig in. This is a core part of the diligence work I do.
