Looking for brainstorming on legal hurdles of starting a SF in India?

Can anyone share their experience searching in India? If none, can anyone brainstorming us on the same?. On the geographic map of Searchfunder.com there are no search funds in India which gives us extra motivation to be the first mover and we are hell bent to make it happen. I did research on ETA opportunities in India last year and spent a few months meeting and talking to potential searchers, investors and owners as I am a big believer in Indian market. ETA can offer a huge potential in India as old businesses are increasingly getting comfortable with the idea of existing their business. There are certain watch-outs including regulatory, due diligence and debt funding related challenges. I also learnt about some unique ways to overcome such hurdles specially when entering in a new market where books are not maintained properly. I would be happy to answer specific questions and share my perspectives.

Hi Ashish, did you end up acquiring a company finally? Would it be possible to connect with you regarding your learnings? I'm planning to start a search in India starting June 2019 and would love to get some lessons.
