One piece of advice on Attorney selection. Price is not the most important characteristic. I have retained $350 hr to well over $1000 hr. In some cases the $350 hr were amazing and in some cases the $1000 hr saved me money because they did it in half the time. I would recommend outlining your criteria and scoring the attorneys you speak with against these criteria. Price will be one of the characteristics but there will be many others. This has always resulted in strong selections and when we got it wrong we moved on to another option after the first engagement.
