Hi everyone

,

I am a rising undergraduate junior at the University of Minnesota looking to get into the investment banking and finance industry. I am looking for an internship opportunity at a fund or capital partner to help learn technical aspects of finance, venture capital, banking, or just to learn in general. I have a little bit of experience in the industry but I would love to expand my knowledge from learning from professionals like you!

Thank You all for your time!

Hi Dhruv I run a traditional funded search with a partner based in Chicago, though we are working remotely now due to covid. We have developed a 15 week remote internship program and it sounds you would be a great candidates to join our next class starting just after Labor Day. We have developed a structured search method that gives interns a complete view of the investment process from idea generation and industry thesis development to target company identification and company analysis. In addition, once we find a deal in a given industry interns are given the opportunity to dig deeper into company / industry analysis and deal structuring alongside us as the analyst staffed on the deal. We currently have 8 undergraduate interns this summer and we are starting to recruit for our next intern class that will begin just after Labor Day. Our program provides 2-3 weeks of initial training on frameworks, tools and methodologies, and from there interns will split their time working individually, together with the other interns, and one-on-one with me and/or my partner to research an industry niche then identify and qualify potential acquisition targets. We also provide time for a weekly ongoing training in which we review relevant MBA level cases around various search fund topics, build technical skills in LBO financial modeling and distill searching best practices developed by the intern group. The internship is best for undergraduates who are self motivated and driven, and while prior knowledge of business / finance / accounting / etc is helpful it is not required. The internship is unpaid all interactions are fully remote with ample use of group / one-on-one video calls and chats. If you would like to be considered for the incoming class please email me at redacted and check out our website www.parc-partners.com
