Looking for a GM or apprentice to owner in Philly?

I have a friend who is not active on here, but is a highly compelling leader. - Military Academy - Special Operations - HBS - PE-backed (major home residential platform) to exec He's kinda fed up with PE and told me "I'd be willing to take a pay cut to be the apprentice for a business owner, learn the ropes, and then buy them out in###-###-#### months". He is a sleeves-rolled-up kinda guy and only wants to buy something he has experience in. If that sounds interesting for anyone in Philly, I will happily make an intro.

Mark: If he is in the Philly area, it could be worth a conversation. I am in water and have started a filtration/systems distributorship, a testing company, a service company (boots on the ground) and - more recently - manufacturing of filtration. I recently sold a good chunk of the service/dist side and am focusing on the manufacturing, leveraging SDVOSB cert for govcon sales in addition to commercial/industrial. The mfg is technically startup but, due to the other initiatives, we have a 23-year performance record. I have begun pitching for a managed buyout partner; could be educational at least for a discussion as my focus is on vets. DM me if interested.
