Looking at statistics for startups, the research is clear that the highest probability of success is for a 2 person team to start a venture. I would think this would also apply to self-funded searchers. As such, I am looking for someone to partner with during the search phase - someone to bounce ideas off, share leads with, and to pool resources with. This will be a true working partnership and not merely an accountability partner.
