Lightheart Management Partners Roundtable

We are working with Cassels Brock to host a roundtable discussion among private equity firms, M&A brokers, and company leaders on the current state of activity and investment in our business community. We invite you to participate in the discussion, which commences at 10:00am Pacific / 1:00pm Eastern on Thursday, May 21.

This will not be a webinar, but rather a chance for all attendees to participate in the discussion. Using a virtual platform that facilitates small-group discussions and even one-on-one networking, the event will resemble (as closely as possible) an in-person event. All attendees will be asked to share their perspectives on the current business environment, future opportunities and risks, and key concerns, to the extent they are willing to do so.

The topic for this first roundtable is the economic and business impacts of COVID-19. If there is sufficient interest and demand in the roundtable, similar events will be planned to continue the conversation. We anticipate that most of the attendees for the inaugural event will be from the Vancouver business community, but this offering is expected to grow to include the national business community and those international who have an interest in the Canadian market. We will be announcing some guest keynote speakers over the next few days that well connected to the M&A, PE, and business community with their thoughts and activities during COVID-19, especially on the M&A front.
