My name is John Ikalowych and I am new to Searchfunder. I wanted to share my story of an acquisition that did not go according to plan. I am sharing this as a means to be a resource to anyone in the community that would want to get firsthand feedback from someone that had an acquisition that did not work out. Below is an article I published on LinkedIn regarding the experience:

Feel free to reach out to me if I could be a resource to you in your search. Wishing you all a healthy and blessed Holiday Season and best wishes in your respective search processes.

Given that 15-20% of all successful searches end with negative returns upon exit, it is refreshing to hear a story on a not so successful acquisition. Certainly a topic not openly discussed enough (and to be fair, for good reason on the part of the searcher). Thanks for sharing John and good luck to you on your next chapter!
